The grapes for our Cabernet Merlot are sourced from multiple vineyard within the South Okanagan Valley. Each variety was destemmed, crushed, then fermented separately in tank on skins for 2-3 weeks before pressing. Each wine underwent full malolactic conversion for a soft and smooth texture before maturing for 8 months in a combination of French and American oak barrel prior to blending and bottling.
WINEMAKING This wine has layered aromas of black plum, ripe raspberry, and subtle undertones of capsicum and coffee bean. This medium to full-bodied red carries a structured yet approachable texture, with gentle tannins and a mouthfeel that’s both vibrant and dry. On the palate, juicy black cherry leads the way, supported by accents of charred oak and black tea. The finish is persistent, with fruit and spice notes tapering off in a refined, earthy fade.
