This Syrah has a medium to full body, soft drying tannins, and a juicy fruit-forward palate of ripe dark fruits, with a touch of oak and spice. The extra dry lingering finish shows notes of blackberry, black currant, spice, oak, cocoa powder, and black tea.
ABOUT THE WINE The Syrah was harvested from Osprey Ridge Vineyard in Oliver within the Okanagan Valley.  The Syrah was fermented in an open top stainless-steel tank, 50% whole cluster, 50% destemmed and crushed, with skin contact for 24 days, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in (50%) new and one-year old French oak barrels, and one Armenian oak barrel for 18 months.
